In experimental design terminology, 'treatment' refers to the change or intervention being tested. In A/B testing, the 'treatment group' is the group exposed to the variation(s), as opposed to the 'control group' which receives no treatment (the original version). Often used interchangeably with 'variation' or 'variant'.
